A pleasant and peaceful hotel on the riverside. Staff were helpful and pleasant and rooms very good. The dinning area offers an inside, verandah or garden setting. So relaxing. Given it was hot this was a refreshing change from the bustle of ancient town. Good choice of food. It is about 20 mins by the complementary bus to ancient town which was not a problem. The bus had a fixed timetable. It is also a short walk to the beach area with a number of seaside restaurants in a small village area. There is also a little shop next to the hotel which does laundry. Service was reliable, prices very good and clothes came back clean and nicely folded
Tina and the staff were very accommodating with restaurant suggestions, shopping, day spa, transport. Tina made us feel very welcome. She is super warm and attentive and speaks excellent English. Nhung is a beautiful woman and you can tell she really takes pride in her establishment and cares for her customers and staff equally. We definitely will be back to stay. The beds were the best we had on our trip. Thanks Tina, Nhung and Co, we will see you all soon xxxx
We had a family room on the third floor overlooking the river, but with windows in three directions. The room was spacious. Kids had king single beds, and all were the most comfortable of our time in Vietnam. The staff were also the friendliest and greeted us by name. We had breakfast daily and lunch one day. There were other restaurants within walking distance. Food was nice, and sitting riverside was tranquil. We borrowed bikes and rode to the beach mainly through the fields, as I don’t like riding on roads. (The nearest beach was sand-bagged, but the ones further out were lovely.) Pool was nice and warm. Laundry was affordable per kg. It had an old world charm, so shutters weren’t sound proof and bathrooms were a bit retro, but it added to the charm. Upstairs was a small gym with billiards and fussball tables, with a great view
Stayed in this Hotel for 3 nights beginning of April 2019. This hotel is lowly ranked,, it should be 4 stars at least. The rooms are spacious and clean, close to Hanoi Old Town, amenities are excellent, breakfast is sumptuous, and most of all staff are super accommodating and friendly. Thanks to Dat, Chloe, Qyunh and especially to Tina, You made our stay in your hotel a very memorable experience in Vietnam. You work beyond your call of duties
This hotel was included in a Tripadeal tour. Way way above expectations. It look just as it shows on the website. Fabulous pool and views from our room. Free shuttle bus to where the action is in HoiAn which made the hotel very peaceful.
The staff were amazing and could not do more for us!
The rooms were clean and fresh and smelled of lemongrass when we walked in. A real plus! The towels and linen were clean and fresh and the bed very very comfortable. Great pillows! Loved our stay here sorry to move on
Everything was really excellent, but the highlight for us wss the incredible staff working at Indochine – particularly Tina and Trung who did everything to make our stay enjoyable. They gave us excellent rooms, made great recommendations, knew us by name which made us feel so welcome, and helped us book train tickets during Tet holiday (a time where it is really difficult to get transport on short notice). The beds were so comfortable as well and we loved that the location was close to the beach. They offered a free shuttle that left several times a day to go to Hoi An Old town. The breakfast was also great! We were truly blown away by the service we received and the comfort for such a reasonable price. thank you for everything.
Visiting Hoi An on vacation trip with brother Eric and his son, he booked separate rooms for the three of us based on affordable price and location. The level of service we received from the staff at Indochine Hoi An was superior to any other hotel I have stayed at (and my sales job in US has me traveling almost every week, so Platinum status with both Marriott and Hilton). The girls at the front desk (Dit, Sophia, Thi, and the rest) went out of their way to find us best restaurants and suggest side trips minimizing our expenses (when to take taxi vs rent car and driver, for example).
I want to single out Tina, the guest relations manager, for her over the top service, whichc. included taking the three of us to local Buddhist temple/pagoda on New Years Day to experience the local culture on this important holiday (with her managers permission).
Tina, and all the staff, were friendly, outgoing, always smiling, and made this trip unforgetable. I would recommend Indochine Hoi An to anyone traveling to this delightful area of Vietnam!
